Turtles- You can have an aquatic or land turtle; they
can stay indoors our outdoors. Turtles aren’t cuddly and
they can’t play fetch, but they are fun to have as a pet.

humans. They are able to talk to humans which make them very
talented.

Toucans- Even though toucans can’t speak with
humans, they are highly intelligible. They learn tricks easily
and are very loving. Some toucans can live up to 40 years!

Hamsters- Hamsters are easy to take care of. They are
great for kids or adults alike. They are nocturnal, so this
pet is ideal for families that aren’t home during the
day.

Ferrets- Ferrets are great pets to have despite popular
belief. They are intelligent, sociable, and mostly quiet. You
can even take them on walks!

Iguanas- Iguanas are great pets to have. They require
an all-vegetable diet and UV light. Iguanas are very popular
among kids.
·
Rabbits- Rabbits are social pets that are entertaining
to watch. They like to exercise and can be litter trained.
Some
animals aren’t meant to be taken care of as pets. When
looking for a unique pet, make sure you read all the facts about
the animals listed below:

Monkeys- Even though monkeys are intelligent, they
can be very challenging pets. They are expensive to keep and
are messy to keep in the house. Raising a monkey around humans
doesn’t affect the wild nature of a monkey, so this could
lead to behavioral problems.

Hawks- Nobody should acquire a hawk as a pet without
the proper instruction. Hawks require raw food everyday. Hawks
also need careful handling which takes a lot of time. They don’t
like to be fondled with, so hawks would not make an ideal pet.

Honey Bears- Honey Bears are exotic animals that should
not be kept as pets. They don’t do well with humans. Humans
aren’t fully aware of all the necessities of honey bears,
so they aren’t good animals to keep as pets.
There
are many other exotic animals that shouldn’t be kept as
pets. Even though they may be easy to acquire, you shouldn’t
keep exotic animals in your home. Some examples are: Flying
squirrels, Sugar gliders, Black panthers, tigers, and wolves.
